In full agreement with the OP ! And ... televised please to achieve the most
impact to those who might tempt the noose and their fate as well as those of
their proposed victims.
Detractors of the death penaly always decry that it doesn't deter the crimes
those on the receiving end of it commit. One thing's assured in it though, dead
murders and rapists will never harm another innocent soul .... and to me, that's
a good thing.
Those who commit heinous acts of violence against their fellow man have no right
to continue to strain the social fabric of a civilized society, nor expect to
live out their lives even in the confinement of prison at the expense of
others.
Death by whatever means is the best payment for their debt

So .... since our justice system isn't perfect (and BTW, what system under ANY
form of government is?) we should not execute those convicted of these crimes
simply because there are flaws in it ???
Surely you don't think these people should be let loose and allowed to commit
further crimes against humanity, even if only within the confines of prison
????
