I was actually in a similar situation once in Nebraska...was a tornado off to my right, not sure how far away but less than a mile I think...was a huge dust cloud like the one pictured above..

we had a tornado here one time and i went to Oz, but the slippers were way to small so i walked all the way barefoot on those stinking bricks. then i caught a really good buzz and took a nap. i get there and he says..."beeeeeeeeeeeep (the alarm went off....time to go to work).
