Man, I went through that Ralph Lauren stage 'bout 20 years ago, I spent some
stupid money on that shit and a lot of it is still in my wardrobe.
One thing though, lotta that stuff is made pretty damn good. Some of my Tommy
Hillnigger
(oops) I mean Hilfiger shirts are as good as the day I
bought 'em.
Nicer than any of that cheap, Chinese made shit you'll find everywhere these
days.
Why do we keep giving our dollars away to those Godless commie bastards?

Never even thought of it that way.Just checked out my closest...most of my
shirts are nautica which by the way are made in vietnam and here i was thinking
nautica was an american product. What brands are american?

Good luck.
All that designer stuff is made where the cheapest labor is. Offshore.
Pakistan, India, Thailand, Vietnam, China.
That's why I quit buying that fuckin' crap. $90 for a Ralph Lauren long sleeve
cotton twill shirt?
I don't think so.
It Probably cost 'em less than a tenth of that to make it.
In better times, the USA had a flourishing textile and garment industry that
turned out a superior product.
Blame the greedy unions and high material costs for it's sorry demise.
