The message this pic imparts to me personally is that to support gun control is to also support the trend towards dictatorship and social domination by a government, which I agree with. Once guns are outlawed the people of any country will nauturally become less empowered against the government and as such can be easily dominated by actions of the government. This is why the American forefathers felt it an important enough issue to include gun ownership rights as one central to our perseverance as a nation of free people.

If gun ownership rights are ever taken away from the American citizenry you can rest assured that grave changes to our social demographic will be following shortly thereafter and only the rights of honest and law abiding citizens to protect themselves will be compromised. This would in turn give criminals, misdeeds by our own government and attacks by foreign powers the upper hand against the bulk of the American public.

While the philosophy of "Might makes right" seems totally flawed conceptually since might alone can never make right, one thing I completely agree with is that "Might" at least gives one strength and somewhat levels the playing field against oppression. For that reason alone I'll never willingly give up my firearms, even if such a decision were to make me a criminal in the eyes of the law of the land. I was born as an American with the right to bear firearms and will never accept a decision contary to that position.

The majority of people who support gun control legislation really don't understand what it is they are supporting. They think the legislation has an affect on crime and criminals. These supporters really don't understand the criminals don't care about the law anyway and will continue to do what they do no matter what the law says. I don't know how to explain it to them any better than "if guns are outlawed, then only criminals will have guns". Gun laws do not take guns away from criminals, it only takes guns away from law abiding citizens.

That was the best movie to signify why we need to keep our guns. It is much easier to gain more weapons from the enemy if we start with guns instead of knives.
