is he/she an adopt-a-pet deal? that's what i do. the cat i have now was around
his age when i got him.

we got two when they were about that the same age as the two you have. we have
had them three years until one of them (taz mania) got run over and killed three
weeks ago. it leaves a big whole in the family when you lose them.

Yes it does leave a painful spot which is why I didn't want any more pets for
awhile after burying the last of the four cat's we had from the same family last
summer. Then one day a couple of months ago the mother of this lot followed my
son home (I think there may have been bribery involved) and I was too slow
getting her fixed. Soon as the kittens (4) get weaned, mamma is getting fixed
then the little ones'll get fixed as soon as they're old enough. Hopefully
someone will adopt some of them then but we'll take care of the family as long
as we need to. The damned things do grow on you.
Sorry about Taz. Hope your kids didn't see that or take it too hard.
