No problems here for arresting adults preying on underage girls or boys.
Pedophilia is a sickening concept and should never be foisted upon minds too
young to comprehend the outcome of such behavior.

there is a problem with laws that judge you for a crime you =might= commit if
you weren´t arrested beforehand. also makes it really easy for govt. or others
to set you up for a crime that was never carried out. sounds like a fascist
state to me.

Ah .... my good friend john stone. If one of your daughters had been acosted
by a pedophile and you'd had to sift through the mental damage with your own
progeny afterwards perhaps your view might be similar or at least you might
better understand my protestations more completely.
Sex with children is depraved and I've yet to have seen or heard a single
argument that would reasonably validate such behaviour.
zxz555 .... your point is well taken, but in many of the incidents the adult
"perp" has traveled across town or even to another city or state to
meet with a known minor and it's highly unlikely they're doing so to wish them a
happy birthday or anything else so similarly innocous. Is it really necessary
to allow them to actualy have sex with these kids before arresting them ?

A wonderful court ruling in South Australia ruled that an offence happens when
material is downloaded/accessed in a place where the material is illegal.
