Israel assets launched the first strikes from Lebanon at Israel to provoke what
we have seen in the past 2 weeks.
This was part of a larger US-Israeli plan to drive Hezbollah (a Shia group) out
of Lebanon.
Saudi Arabia (a Sunni nation) has defended their feloow muslims calling on a
cease fire. Saudi Arabia knew about the plan but believe the US and Israel have
gone too far. The Saudis were stupid to believe the US and Israel would be
judicious in their air strikes.
This stupid measure will only cause Iran backed by Russia and China to develop
nuclear weapons rather than just nuclear power.
Of course the Bush adminsitration has taken their eye off the ball because
Pakistan has become nuclear capable.
All to follow the dumb idea that the number of terrorists in the world is a
finite set. WRONG.
