caught a rock bass in the crow wing river just outside of Verndale, MN about the size of a frisbee...thats how big the town is actually the fish was just slightly smaller than that...
I used to catch northern pike there too, that was a lot of fun, thats a fish that really doesnt want to come out of the water and puts up a pretty good fight. Nowadays I mostly fish for rainbow trout in a lake not far from where I live...
I have never actually been fishing in the saltwater, not yet anyways...
what kinds of fish are you hoping to catch tomorrow?

from the piers the fishing is really cool because you never know what your gonna catch. anything from a shark to angel fish. hoping for some snapper or red drum. yum yum. live shrimp is usually the best, but they're hard to keep alive very long (best to have some sort of aeration system).
i wish there were a good place other than broken bow lake in s.w. Oklahoma (3 1/2 hrs away)to catch rainbows. trout has to be my favorite fish to eat. I'm a devout practitioner of catch and release, but rainbows seem to just want to be on ice...:~)
i'll take some pictures, but i promise not to post 500 of them, just the great ones.

oops, that was the wing river, not the crow wing, also used to fish the leaf river there...
good luck with your fishing, hope you catch a few nice ones...
