Not even James Bond can drive like that dude.
McQueen DEFINES what it means to be "cool";
most especially when he disses the very business
that he's in. ("Acting is no way for a man to
earn a living"...he learned to live within his
own hypocrisy. Nice trick.)
Ford studied the soundtrack to this movie whilst
designing the exhaust for the new 'Stang. I thought that was a pretty good testament to the
film's value as a cultural icon.

Chuck Norris Trained him for awhile and he said that most actors were soft but not Steve he was hard as nails.He would get hit or thrown down and get up and have it done again so he could pay closer attention,he understood what it took to be good at whatever he was doing.
