It was disapointing that the Aussies lost the ashes, it always is when your team loses.
I do think that it is good for the world wide game though. Will increase interest outside Australia, plus I was getting bored with the Aussies winning all the time. This series was by far the most interesting to watch since the outcome was NOT certain (like it has been in the past). Well done to the poms. It's about time Engalnd won at a sport that they invented.
BTW Herc, it's the first time they have won the ashes in 18 years NOT 36.

And who GIVES A FUCK about cricket anyway. The same people who said American football needed hot cheerleaders because it was boring!

Didn't you know, 63108, the blessed St.Tony was personally responsible for winning the Ashes, just as he has been for every good thing that has happened to the UK, while being in no way responsible for all the bad things. we know this is true because he has told us so, himself.
P.S. I don't give a fuck about cricket, either.

People who don't understand the rules of creicket don't like it, and that's fine, no one is saying you have to like it. If you do learn the rules of the game you may come to have an enourmous appreciation for it as one of the most exciting sports of all.
Well, I like it anyway. Even if my team did lose the ashes.
