Waaay too much truth to that. If we can get the convention of states lined up
as our own Texas governor is working towards, term limits is one area that
really needs addressed for all elected officials as well as those who are
appointed, like supreme court justices. The concept of "life long
legislators" building and lording over legislative kingdoms was never the
founders intention, nor was the supreme court intended to do anything more than
interpret legislated law.
Another area needing similar reigning in is the empowerment of unelected members
of governmental agencies writing policy that is then given essentially the power
of legislatively enacted law, with no actual oversight from anyone but those who
appoint them. This is absolutely unconstitutional as the Constitution only
empowers the legislature to write and enact laws.
Far too much of our governments actions are far afoul of what the Constitution
allows.

There are those in this country who would like nothing better than doing away
with the constitution entirely.
