looks has always been secondary to me. the real importance is in perfomance.

no your right f-d - i didnt make up my mind on the looks or cosmetics when i
bought it - the whole engine was rebuilt - top and bottom - new bearings, shims,
you name it - that engine is solid. and the suspension, frame and brakes were
all chill - so it was to be mine

i had a 69 g.t.o. that was soooo ugly people would laugh at lights.....then the
smoke would fly and their chins would hit the floor! my old cuda was o.k. then i
dropped 5000 in the engine and body work in '79 or '80 (big $ then). she turned
into a beast after that. my cousin bought her from me (fuckin dumbass me) and
converted back to original a few years later. every once in a while i go to get
her for the weekend and smoke some little honda punks. they think it's an
"old man's car", till i leave 'em in the dirt! then they wanna see
what's under the hood....love it!

Can't wait to post (finish) my '70 cb750. Frame up Cafe' racer. F the
factory. I've hand made almost ALL of the parts for the frame and other race
bike parts. Coustom hand made Carbon Fiber too. It will probably still be cold
when it's together, oh well, got gear.
