(car salesman talking) "You'll look great driving this beauty here. Low
monthly payments, great gas mileage, and plenty of room for all the kids when
you are on your way to soccer practice or if you need to stop by the local
grocery."

hosbro Report This Comment Date: January 04, 2005 10:31AM
tried to comment earlier but something was messed up with my
connection...ok....let's try again...this car sux bigdaddy donkey dicks compared
to what you can buy on the market....if you want something that goes fast in a
straight line buy an american big block for a fifth of the price,,,,if you want
fast around the corners buy a porshe 911 and tune it to the max for way less
than half the price....if you want a fast autocross/scca type car buy either a
minicooper , a 280z, or a mazda miata and do suspension/supercharger upgrades to
the hilt for way less than half the price....my brother and I are into American
muscle a little bit ...him with 2 Novas (one does high 13's completely
stock/agressive cam) and me with a 67 C-10 (400 small block, 400 turbo trans,
with a 850 double pumper eldebrock) ....16.5 is nothing in the quarter...for the
price of this car you could buy 2 really hot cars (and one really reliable car)
that would blow the doors offa this one....i just think you like the fact that
it's a station wagon so you and your boyfriend can scrogg in the back
hosbro Report This Comment Date: January 04, 2005 10:37AM
wanna check out a hot "sports" car for a beginner price...check out
the monster miata...powered by a 5.0L Mustang engine(up to 475 hp with
supercharger).....less than 25 k and will blow most cars off the road and the
strip.
hosbro Report This Comment Date: January 04, 2005 10:45AM
wanna get into grass roots racing cheap...check out the datsun b210, 510,810,
or the mazda 323 (a guy a few years ago placed 2nd in the nation in his class in
a car he put less than 1.5k into)...less than 1k and will be only a few seconds
offa the big dogs with all the adrenaline rush...use search engine to look up
grassrootsracing, scca, or autocross

and you were happy with your gay old station wagon that could do 16.5 in the
quarter
schiller Report This Comment Date: January 04, 2005 09:04PM
oh right, i forgot you buy 475hp engines for less than 4k...hmmm ill pass that
tip on to the guys at audi, MY GOSH HOW COULD THEY HAVE MISSED THIS.
and i imagine ferrari has been doing it all wrong. what a shame. thanks for the
enlightenment cock cruncher
hosbro Report This Comment Date: January 04, 2005 10:20PM
this model is not equipt with the 475hp...the 475 does < 11.87s in the
quarter...actually you buy this engine cheap schiller for the standard monster
miata....conversion kit outta california cost around 4 or 5 k for the
do-it-yourselfer....engine, trans and rear diff are also needed in the
change-over....tons of mustangs, thunderbirds and cougars in the junk-yard and
if you want new go to ebay and pick up a crate engine to modify....and as for
project car cost you can pick up a miata with a blown engine for way less than
6k....the blue book on a 90 miata is around 2.5k...as for ferrari doing it all
wrong no they haven't...they are a business...thats their job making
money....they are nice lookin, fast, great cars but it would piss me off to no
end if some guy that sunk 20k into a beater of a miata blew my f/n doors
off...maybe if you tell your "guys" at audi and ferrari you will get
what you really want more than anything in this world...an audi engineer in your
ass and a ferrari engineer in your mouth
schiller Report This Comment Date: January 05, 2005 12:11AM
a monster miata- youre fucking brilliant thats about as gay as you can get.
basically your telling me to build a castle outta a pile of shit. and im sure
you would make us all proud if you could do that, but would make us happier is
if you would just eat it. why waste money on that trash when you could get
something decent to begin with?
hosbro Report This Comment Date: January 05, 2005 01:52AM
no what's gayer than that is when you "pimped" your vibrator with a
weed wacker engine and accidently chipped a tooth
schiller Report This Comment Date: January 05, 2005 10:25PM
are you getting these out of a book? at least check and make sure its english
that last bit about chipping teeth with vibrators makes a whole hell of a lot
sense. unless you've got some technique you wanted to share with us...

hosbro Report This Comment Date: January 06, 2005 10:54PM
backed into a corner?....your car still sux...no amount of fussing about it
will convince me that i should pay 62k for something that can't compete with
lots of cars under 30k....you want a SUV buy one...you want a sports car buy
one....don't settle for an amalgamation of the two that does neither job
well....if the audi was to cost under 30k then i would consider it a possibility
to be classified as a "Super Car"...so basically, Great Car...Sucky
Price...definately not a Twat Teaser....your car is comparable to the SUVs in
the hood with 4WD, Dropped to the Ground, chrome rims and tires worth more than
the car, and would never see a dirt road or trail...buy a car for the track and
one for the supermarket...quit lusting over a slightly above mediocre,
overpriced car
hosbro Report This Comment Date: January 06, 2005 11:24PM
thought of a better analogy: buying this car would be like a dentist buying a
pair of teeth extractors for 10k which double as a basal thermometer...they
would be used for going to an eating place alot but would probably not get a lot
of pussy
clarkeS4 Report This Comment Date: January 07, 2005 09:44PM
That has to be the most ignorant thing i have ever heard. You will never find
a car under 30k, in stock form, that will compete with the Audi RS4. Audi never
meant for this to be an SUV, and it is very close to being a
"supercar" even without the flashy wings, and spoilers. The All Wheel
Drive this car has is for road control and stability when cornering, not for
dirt roads and trails. Why don't you take the time and research the car
yourself. Take a look at the RS4 stats, and the RS6 stats, you might be amazed.

oh and also about the same time the guy that won the nationals drove a datsun

clarkeS4 Report This Comment Date: January 08, 2005 11:59AM
You are still talking about a modified car vs. a stock car. I have also
participated in scca/slalom type courses. I had a modified Golf GTI that would
beat a stock Acura NSX anyday, and there was a modified Mazda Miata that would
kick all of our asses day in and day out. I still don't know what you are
trying to convince me of. These are the best cars, short of a BMW M5, for
comfort, performance, and safety. If you want all of this in a nice package you
have to pay for it. I can't think of any car in this price range that i would
like to drive everyday.
hosbro Report This Comment Date: January 08, 2005 02:14PM
hello? McFly? the answer is money ....you apparently just made my best
arguement...kickin' ass cheaper is the bottom line...you want comfort and luxury
look around and find you an old Land-yacht....you could buy the Golf and the
Miata you mentioned and would probably have enough left over to buy a
comfortable, family car......just was brought up to know that anything you pay
62k for better have a foundation and a quarter acre of land

Have you noticed how many standard american cars are sold around the globe and
especially Europe - yep, about seven. There's only you guys over there that want
a 'V8 supercharged planet killer'.In Europe you barely see a car with an engine
over 3 litres. I have a classic mini with 1275cc and it's pretty well modified
but not for straight line speed - it will 'out-corner' anything that has been
designed and built before or since. The RS4 is one hell of a car - you guys have
to remember that at the end of a straight there tends to be a corner or you're
into drag racing and I'm wasting my time.

Hosbro - "twat teaser" - is that the way you'd describe a car - you
are hilarious. You should get Dubya round for dinner - your two interlects
together in one room would be an amazing opportunity for humanity - pass me the
sniper rifle.

OK guys, cut the ego crap, I've been building back yard V-8 conversions for 35
years, American V-8 into European cars, (Maserati 3500/406 chev., TR-7/Buick
215, AC ace/454 chev., MGB/215 Buick, Volvo/chev 350, cobra kit/350 chev, and
many US V-6 to V-8 projects, have given up this time consuming and expensive
hobby and am now a reired merchant seaman, but I have a Mazda Miata that is
nothing but an updated Lotus Elan, and now want to do it one more time - a Buick
215 alum. v-8 swap which will blow the doors off your high priced ego trips,
I've always worked on a back yard budget, never more than a few thousand $ for a
complete swap, (I build everything myself and use wrecking yard engines) but
damn, I can't find a 215 alum. V-8 anywhere! I want a Buick/Olds, not a Rover,
anybody?? Besides, cars should be fun & cheap because I just tear them up
anyway. And the Miata is a great car, drive one and quit sniveling. My high
school car (1966) was a Sunbeam Tiger that I sold for $900. Kick me
