There is a parade. But unfortunately, as it's you dancing around in your underwear, nobody wants to see it sad smiley

And the ONLY date format that is correct is YYYYMMDD smiling
smiley Why on earth would MMDDYYYY make any sense?

Sadly, by the time this was posted, it was already plus614 day in plus613 land..

I get
YYYYMMDD (biggest to smallest unit; easily computer sortable)

I get
DDMMYYYY (smallest to biggest unit; easy for human to understand)

How the fuck does
MMDDYYYY make sense? Medium unit, smallest unit, biggest unit?

You people are nuts. Nuts, with a u. Just like in colour.

Jerks.

And people say Americans are lazy?

It's the proper way of speaking the Queen's English.

Also, goats.

The queens english? Sounds like something you'd expect from those 2 clowns above clown

We reject the queen, even kicked all the kings mens asses ... twice, after which we still came to their rescue twice more, making sure English, not German, is their national language. Then we turned around and kicked Japans ass, which saved the Chinese and even you cats in Ozs asses.

Given the above truisms, figure that gives us the ability to delete any superfluous "U's" we so choose to from any word in the dictionary, and state our dates as we choose to as well. 'Sides, what kinda bizarro worldish logic does it take to make any sense in placing the year before the month and date anyway. NO ONE speaks it that way, so why the fuck would anyone chose to denote it that way in written form, then consider that correct (*facepalm*)

Onto DK and his goat harem ... yeah, I'll just stop there, Nuff Said spinning

Nobody says YYYYMMDD; but it makes total sense, since I spend my life at a keyboard sorting structured data, and I can tell you it makes life a fuckload easier smiling
smiley

In written & spoken parlance, regardless of your views, the only correct way to move is smallest to largest; thus, DDMMYYYY; otherwise you may as well go back to Roman numerals.

The rest.. that's just words. You can say what you like, Sir, it doesn't make you any less wrong. smiling
