Ok, long enough, fossil's pretty hit n miss these days. It's an early 70s
Chevelle, possibly a Heavy Chevy or at least a knock off of one. These commonly
had that POS short lived 396 big block engine, famous for chunkin rods out the
side of the block. A cat I knew in HS managed to hydroplane his into several
telephone poles in the rain one day.
His parents, in their wisdom, handed him a lead sled '70 Ford LTD afterwards,
which I managed to catch him runnin smooth ass over a school zone sign in one
mornin. The family, short of his lil sister and Dad suffered terrible luck with
cars. His Mom was paralyzed from the neck down from a wreck and his older
brother died after he split his '66 'Stang in 1/2 just behind the drivers seat
when he slammed sideways into a telephone pole while racing late one night after
an irate neighbor chunked a truck bumper in front of him during a pass. His
speedo still read 100.
