From North County (Ferguson) and this is what it all is now..... just another ghetto area.....

they do/did their best to make this G just another poor little black boy just trying to get through his day.

The shopkeeper should have had a gun and finished it when he was violently handled.

By the way, they keep saying all he did was steal some cigars but, they don't mention threats or assault at all.....

Cop should be charged.... but that is going by the current story, so, we'll see.

This is the problem in cities of any size when groups or gangs think they can do whatever they want without repercussions. Maybe if every law abiding citizen is allowed to wear a gun on their side in clear view some of this will stop. These big guys think that because of their size they can get away with everything. Notice I said guys and not blacks, this kind of thing happens in all races. Seems like it happens more with the black race though.

An increase in gun ownership, coupled with more states offering concealed carry permits, and of course more people actually carrying weapons, it absolutely refutes the anti-gun argument of this scenario causing more violent crime since statistically violent crime has in the same period been in decline ... at least in areas where concealed carry ore open carry has also been on the rise.

The facts def seem in favor in an increase of law abiding citizens carrying more weapons indeed decreasing crime, so I guess you're right pulse smileys

Brown was a man on a mission that day. He just robbed and assaulted, and MOMENTS LATER a cop rolled up as he was still HOT from the crime scene. He was looking at the world through a pinhole, and shit got crazy.
No one has mentioned that he was making blunts. He needed a box of these flavored cigars to roll dope in, and a box of them means that he was dealing. The way he handled the clerk says he was very accustomed to thuggery.

A man his size is a weapon and some like him use their size as a weapon.

I used to work in a liquor store and all employees were required to wear pistols on our belts uncovered when at work. Before instituting this rule the store was being robbed continually for years but after guns were worn it was never robbed again. Visible weapons do seem to make criminals go elsewhere. Even if everyone were allowed to open carry it would not be like the old west. Even the real old west was not like the movies of the old west, killings were not as rampant as Hollywood made it out to be. I have carried a gun for years and have never had an occasion to use it.

While it's a possibility he intended to make up some blunts outta the cigars, that's still an assumption, and one made without any factual basis, which means logic dictates it is then a baseless claim unless you have personal 1st hand knowledge to the contrary, which is highly doubtful.

To further extrapolate that because he wanted a carton of the cigars is evidence he was then a drug dealer is really stretchin shit waaaaay past the bounds of reasonability, and in fact, just points to how little you know about drug usage and culture.

To sum up dingo, you have stated a position predicated on a baseless claim, then trumped that with statements showing a total lack of understanding of what you're discussing. Like the saying goes, it's better to keep silent and appear wise than to display your thoughts openly and prove yourself otherwise (*facepalm*)

It doesn't really matter what he was or was not going to do with the cigars. What matters is that he used strong arm tactics to steal them. He was a criminal, add the fact that he attacked the cop so therefore he deserved what he got.

In any country in the world, when a uniformed policeman "tells" you to do something you fucking do it.
End of story.
I don't care if you were only jay walking and got shot dead for resisting or for being a smart arse.
If you have no fear of a cop with a gun, then the cop is gonna see that pretty quick and put you down.
Of course, that's why they invented tasers, because the world is full of fucktards and violent criminals with a "mental illness" that we have to treat with kid gloves.

It's not fear that cops want from the populace, it is respect. If you have respect for the police then you will do what he asks of you. When there is no respect then they have to do what is needed to maintain order and do their jobs. The fear people should feel is the fear of going to jail not the cop's gun. Their gun is a last resort and is to be used when all else fails. In my time as a cop I never had occasion to use my weapon but I was taught that if it was ever fired we were not to wound the target, we were taught to hit center mass for a kill shot. Certainly there might be a few cops who would use their guns as a first resort but those a very small minority and they usually don't last long in a department.

the constant realization of dominance results in fear...

If police work is applied correctly it is not dominance it is respect for authority but when that respect for authority is gone then it must be dominance that is applied.

Michael brown had no respect for anything so therefore he brought about what happened to him.
