Nevermind the head - what about the hole the neck is supposed to go in? One of the worst photoshop blunders I have seen in a while.

Same thing, the headbone's connected to the neck bone...

The zombie from a few pics back got to them first.

Other than the hole the PS isn't that badly done, esp when you note that they erased an other entire person as well from the original.

Looking at the image full size they have done a good job with the wood grain and shading but the edges of the hole and top piece of wood are a bit off, but to me that is all irrelevant when they make blunder as big as missing the semi-circle cut-out on the top piece of the stocks.

I think the reason is the location of the head covered the top edge of the hole entirely. When you PS an image you need source material to work from to fill in the hole. In this case it was entirely covered over so there was nothing to work with, thus it was either cut it straight across or don't make the picture at all. I suspect they never thought it would end up on a photo sharing site being picked apart... or cared. smiling

It could have but if you look closely when comparing the two you can detect faint outline of the other girl and other things in the pic where they were painted over. The colors and patterns don't quite exactly match.
