You can have it. It's mid February and I have grass outside when I should have 3 feet of snow and 6 foot drifts on my lawn. I haven't even pulled the snow shovel out of the basement let alone the engine rebuild I did on the snowblower last summer. smiling
smiley God bless global warming. El Nino, Al Gore, or whatever else it was that caused this!!

Ouch... they get you lit up yet? That's the problem when this kinda stuff hits down there... your infrastructure just isn't designed for it. I had a GF in Alabama for awhile... even a slight ice storm and the power would be out for hours.

I have a buddy in Arlington (suburb between Dallas and Ft. Worth) whose had no juice for 2+ days now. He said by the frydee there was no firewood to be had at any of the stores.

Texas has its own power grid and often fares pretty well in such situations so I dunno what happened. Here on the east side of Dallas I had 2 off and right back on events but no real down time. I was in my office when they both hit and if I hadn't heard the APCs kick in I wouldn't have even known about 'em .... except that all the friggin clocks were flashin all through the house afterwards grinning
