Many thanks for the link Doofy. I somberly viewed each pic and then read every comment left on the blog attached, often though blurry eyes.

It saddens me to view these moments in history knowing the shared costs so many have given unselfishly to allow the world as we know it today to exist while knowing in fullness the lack of understanding or respect our current generation has for that cost or the implications of what our present would be like without the contributions made to it by the brave souls that defended the world against the tyranny and madness wrought upon it by the Axis powers in that time.

I wonder near daily where our country will be in the aftermath of the legacy left behind by our current puppet and congress. It's not yet "too late" for Americans to wake up and smell the coffee about what's going on today and move forward once again to recapture our rights, though I fear the level of complacency and overall ignorance by such large segments of our population will ultimately be our undoing.

The continually declining level of education in our society makes the US a perfect breeding ground for a country of slaves and that's a sad, sad thought sad smiley

I agree Kim. So many people in this country don't and I am afraid never will see the danger until it is too late. Just because I am a bigot does not mean I am wrong when I say this #$%@ N word we have for president is going to destroy this country.
