this pic is not the child in the story but...

i'm sending this to everyone i can think of to hopefully avoid another terrible tragedy such as this.

my beast friens 5 year old son was at a party friday night for his end of the year flag football team. he was sliding down the slide and went directly to the bottom of the pool. all the other children thought that he was playing a joke, but when he floated to the top face down the kids started screaming. the parents had gone inside for just a few minutes and heard the kids. he was careflighted to the hospital but had no brain signs at all. they pulled the plug on him saturday around 1:00 p.m.

i'm passing this along to highten the awareness for people to NEVER take your eyes off your kids because i don't want anyone to ever have to experience this grief.

as i type this i'm crying my eyes out.

That's f'n terrible. A former neighbor of mine lost his little boy in a backyard spa. Fell through the covers and drowned.

Watch your kids.

That #1 vote stuff is automatic, I'm sure that's so the people that vote a #5 on there own post will instantly become a #3.

The kid in the picture is OK. This is a still from a video promoting drown-proofing for toddlers. I saw it on YouTube. The story is fake.

The story being fake does not undermine the fact that this shit does happen.

i hope everyone takes this story to heart and does their utmost to prevent another tragedy as this. i'm only the best friend of the father in this sad story and have no kids. noone and i mean noone should ever have to experience the pain i have as well as my best friend in the world (30+ years).

this story is very real, the picture was borrowed for this post's purpose only.

please please don't let this happen to your family or anyone you know. please

i joke about alot of things here and give people a hard time to amuse myself over petty bullshit, but i NEVER will joke about death, especially about a child mine or anyone elses. and i say again, please do your part in making sure that noone you know family or otherwise have to go through this EVER!
