All Saddam had to do to prevent the invasion was to allow the UN inspectors free unfettered access to look for weapons, but he kicked them out of the country.

Wouldn't have mattered, Sadam put out a hit on W's father..that's the real reason we're over there. Cheyney's in it for the $$$ for Haliburton though.

They were only on record as saying there were no WMD's there after we invaded and Saddam had plenty of time to ship them out of country. For 12 years prior the entire world knew he had them and he played hide and seek with the UN. Common sense would dictate that during the long run up to the invasion Saddam had plenty of time and the ability to ship them out of the country to places like Syria. If someone stole the Hope Diamond and they new the police were going to search their home next month for the diamond, do you really think they would keep it there? The same damned thing.
