I hunt with most of them, and six out of the fourteen (total) are avid field trial and agility competitors. My trainer/handler says they're about the nicest Springers she's ever worked with, which is quite a compliment considering the fact that she's trained dogs for Westminster. It's pretty funny to watch the expressions on people's faces when they come up to the property and see a seemingly endless group of Springers come out to greet them!

Actually, a 44lb. bag of their favorite kibble lasts about a week. I figure about $250-300 a month just to feed them, and health maintenance/veterinary care averages about $1000-1500 a year. Not bad, considering I'd spend about ten times that amount if they were kids.
