It's 12-12-2005's morning scene of Nagaoka city.
But real winter - January and February - much more than more snow Falls.
Nagaoka: about 1.0-1.5m
Tokamachi: about 1.5-2.5m etc...

May be I have old pictures of Nagaoka's winter scene. If that pictures lost I'll take new pictures of Nagaoka in snow.

haha yeah where i am it's hot (or kinda cool) in the winter
it has only really snowed once in my life
back in 1988 i was eight and made a snowman and went sledding on a coockie sheet
i would really enjoy experiencing real snow again
and most people from colder areas would rather be here (or florida, one state down) during the winter months
i guess the grass is always greener on the other side

If you've seen one snowfall, you've seen them all, some more, some less..all will cost you money and time if you choose to live in those areas..

Not necessarily, f_d. It snows in Holland but you don't see many skiers there.

Please see Dec. 25, 2005 and Dec. 31 2005 pictures.
Both all six pictures.

Too many snow falling in December is very rare cace in Nagaoka. 2004-2005 winter season's snow is too heavy... from 19 years before. But that was begin in the later of January. It will be more than more great snowfalling this (2005-2006) winter...I think and afraid.

Historical great snow falling is Jan.1963's named "SAN-PACHI(38) GOUSETSU". (1963's great snow falling. 1963 tear is Showa 38 year)
