Found this on the www - here's what the guy said about it: "This is my saab supercharged with a belt driven leaf blower, it totally gets some measureable boost,i have driven around witht his on my car, with no hood very illegally. i guess the police in my area have given up on my car to some extent. i also think its rather beautiful"

it's not a supercharger, as by definition a supercharger runs off the cam shaft, while a turbo recycles the exhaust fumes - both methods are used to power a fan to force extra air into the combustion chanber.

Me_one...a supercharger is mechanicly driven from the engine, usually the crank. So.. technicly it is a "supercharger". A turbo is, generaly speaking, is a turbine driven by engine exhaust pressure to mechanicly drive, a usually integrated 2nd turbine to intake and create extra pressure, "boost", along with some exhaust heat (ie. intercooler needed). There are other diff. too.

LOOKS LIKE CRAP. I'M NOT REALLY SHURE HOW MUCH PRESSURE DUCT TAPE CAN REALLY HOLD? Just something to think about.

How does the fuel keep up with the increased air without leaning out to much and detonation.

You know they make PVC glue that is pretty strong and all you need is a hack saw and sandpaper to use it.
