Yeah, I've only ever driven in snow a single time, and that was when I was living in the UK. It's extremely rare for it to reach the ground outside of the mountains here, and if it does it usually melts as soon as it touches the road. Buildup is non-existent below ~500m usually.

It's been a cold week here, but still with daytime averages of around 12C.

I think it'd be fun to do a snow/ice driving course. The time I did drive in it in the UK was horrible, I had a 600bhp Supra and effectively racing slicks, there was almost no tread at all in those tyres.
