Yeah it wasn't deep or anything, probably half a foot through the ground floor; but enough to destroy the solid wood flooring, skirting boards, kitchen kickboards, make everything swell up, big sliding doors at the rear of the house don't close anymore, bathroom is no longer watertight blahblahblah.
