July 5th 2016 @ 3 A.m.:
Booom! splish splash.......
i wake up and hear water right outside the window.
the water is 2 feet up the wall of the building.
i run in the living room to see it dry but water is on the patio.
i block up the door with towels as fast as i can.
couches and trees are bouncing off the tree right off the porch.
the building next door flooded 2 feet deep. we got really lucky to not get any water
they tore out the walls up to the switches on all 8 apartments one the first floor and the next 5 units down the creek.
the drain in the parking lot backed up and the parking lot flooded big time (5 feet deep in one area)
3 cars stood straight up on their noses before it drained.
when it drained, the 3 cars were stacked up against each other by the drain.

we came about 1 inch from getting water. our building is much higher than theirs. i'd say 2 feet
