How did shaking hands come about in the first place? It started as a way to show you are unarmed and not holding a sword when you meet someone. How did it get perverted to show a friendly meeting? I never liked shaking hands and only do so now when a hand is extended to me, I never initiate. Maybe tradition should be changed or done away with on some of these things. Maybe the tradition of wearing a business suit in all jobs should be done away with as well. Is wearing a suit a way of setting oneself above and apart from a lower class?
