The Kooleen was an inner city ferry that only did short runs
as she was small. I only went on this a couple of times as it spent a lot
of it's service time in the dockyard because it would constantly break down.
And it stank! Something to do with how the diesel engine was set up and the
ventilation system, which was virtually non existent.
