Thanks for the positive nod Pablo. The frustrated poet/writer in me slips out from time to time and bein able to share real life stories at the same time is kinda like a bonus.

What you'll come to find here is that there's a core group of diverse souls with various backgrounds and interests coupled with others that breeze in and out from time to time. Most of the shit slingin comes from the bit players. I "try" to avoid joinin into such frays, though I don't always succeed, especially when it gets political

The purist in me usually makes me shy away from compilations but that sounds like a helluvan album with all great tunes! Are you sayin it had a version of "Country Comfort" by Leon Russell and Elton John? If so I don't think I've ever heard that. Always liked Rods version a lot though, big fan of his old stuff all around really.

Growin up in the 60s I was introduced to Janis, The Doors, Jimi Hendrix, The Jefferson Airplane and lots more when they were still new to the airwaves and most of 'em while ridin around in my Moms Kharman Ghia before FM even had gained any traction ... good times!
