I admit as an atheist conservative constitutionalist I'm far from the typical Republican, though sadly it's the closest party goin to what I do agree with. That having been said, though many Repubs do mistakenly have the idea that they somehow have the right to impose their religious based bullshit on others, no strict adherer to the Constitution could ever back that ideology. Of course this is just ONE of the reasons I support strict adherence to the Constitution, without the need for any interpretation.

I recently took a right brain vs left brain test which rated me at 75% logic and 25% emotion based in my thinking, to which I feel is problee a fair summation. This means when surveying an idea I'm always gonna take the side of logic over how anything makes me "feel" 3 to 1, which again is problee right in most cases.

Liberals on the other hand tend to base decisions more on feelings than logic so we're always gonna find each other at odds over most anything. The biggest difference between them and myself is not in how we approach decisions, but in how decisions should be applied.

Liberals aren't happy with taking their beliefs and applying them to their own lives as they see their position as superior and must enforce their beliefs on others as well. That's where we differ IMMENSELY!

While liberals band together into political arms to then FORCE their ideology on others through the power of government, even when doing so violates the principles our government is founded upon, and that is total bullshit.

Repubs then, in defense of their princilpes and the law, have no recourse but to band together to attempt to stymie the liberalists who are trying to lord over them. Liberals indeed DO see themselves as intellectually superior to those who view things in any way but in agreement with their perspective.

Then there's the even sadder reality that in todays world the dems and repubs are really just a bullshit concept altogeher because they're hardly fundamentally different at all.

This of course is the "why" behind why Donald Trump lacks so much support from even the repubs as he's not really aligned with their continuation of the game they want to keep goin and hence is an affront and attack on their very continuance.

What the repubs fail to understand is that they CREATED the need for a candidate like Trump from the years upon years of having lied to their constituents and having sold them down the river by not having simply done what they claimed they would do if we'd just give them a crack at sensible governance. Instead, once they take office they just say "fuck my constituents" and do whatever the hell they wanna do anyway.

The people that support Trump don't do so from some sense of moral or intellectual superiority over the dems. They support him because they have grown tired of all the political corruption, abuse of power, PC nonsense and just want a return to what our government was intended to be: small, unobtrusive and constrained by the principle contained in the Constitution smileys with beer
