Many years ago I was the only passenger in a small, twin engine commuter plane flying from Tampa, FL to Punta Gorda, FL (about 100 miles) at night in rainy (read stormy) season. I was in the copilot's seat and though we didn't fly near any storms there were multiple scenes like this scattered all around us. It was amazing.
