They're pretty much dead here too, since the Ford Falcon and Holden (GM) Commodore are basically end of life. They're both not being manufactured anymore as of next year, and they're the base platform for the utes.
Ford are starting to import the Mustang as a replacement, but it's a totally different car to the Falcon. I don't know if they'll attempt to replace the ute from another platform, but I doubt it.
