Mach I have seen the same thing in my over 60 years of life as well. The city I was born in used to be predominantly white and it was a decent town but over the years it started getting more and more blacks and is now predominantly black and a total shit hole. It has gotten to the point I hate saying I was born there. What I have seen is a majority of blacks act as though they are owed a living because they were once slaves. They have the exact same opportunities as whites but most do not take advantage of those opportunities and try to better themselves. Now this behavior might just be partly caused by us because our political correctness might cause them to see an opportunity to get something for nothing.
