It's sad but true. And not just for the kids.
I've spent some time this afternoon helping my wife (primary school teacher) in her school's words "dumb down" the reports she's written as the school thinks the words and concepts will be too hard for the parents.
It's worth pointing out that this is a 'high achieving' school....
