that is true Quasi, the only way to get rid of guns completely is to use magic to make all guns disappear and we know there is no such thing as magic. Even with magic doing away with guns then you would have to make all knowledge of guns and how to make them and gun powder disappear. Human beings being what we are there will always be some who will want to kill others and do it more efficiently so even if we were thrust back into medieval days there would still be killings and someone would figure out how to do it better. Getting rid of the tools is not the best way to prevent violence change the human animal itself is the way to go. If one was to use magic to remove all guns it would be better to use that magic to remove all violence from the people then the guns would just collect dust.
