We all know they are but what can we do about it? Everyone knows it is happening but the entire population can't live off the grid. We can't overthrow the government for numerous reasons. since there seems to be nothing we can do to change this practice, it seems better not to go around worrying about it all the time. Which reminds me of the Serenity Prayer below and seems to be a good thing to live by.
"God, grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change, the courage to change the things I can and wisdom to know the difference."
