When I was a kid shoppin with my Mom, if I grabbed somethin in the store she'd smack me on the butt, ask me if that were mine and if not (which it obviously waddn) to keep my hands to myself and off the merchandise unless I was ready to buy something, then any other adult within sight would scowl at me as if I had suddenly grown a 2nd head.

Fast forward to today, 40+yrs later. Same scenario but now when anyone sees Mom pop a kid on the ass they immediately whip out their cell and dial 911. The cops come and arrest the Mom for child abuse, while the kid gets asked if they need a counselor before bein whisked away to Child Protective Services, which means Mom will go through nine kindsa shit to even get their own kid back and just know, she'd best get a lawyer (one of the judges best buddies is highly recommended BTW!) then it's on like Donkey Kong from there. Mom will problee be fined, see a probation officer once a month, while paying for that privilege, then hafta take "proper" parenting, anger management and god know what other type of BS classes (aka, MORE $$ for one of the judges friends who were smart enough to set up such a class) as a part of her probation .... for being a REAL parent
