Actually, it turned out to be a lucky day. A military unit was transporting a piece of heavy equipment and became stuck in the traffic jam created by the crash. Turns out that equipment was just what was needed to support the car and rescuers to effect the rescue of the car's occupant(s?) so they wouldn't fall.
