Yeah, they're pretty useless here too during our wicked summertime downpours when it's best not to be out anyway because of the frequent lightning - this is the lightning capitol of the U.S. Wearing rain gear is pointless too - it's so hot you'll just get soaked in sweat so might as well put up with the rain.
