JG, I don't claim that this person has any proof of anything, I though it was an interesting article and on topic. I really don't think you can claim to have a working understanding of DNA based on common sense and watching Bones on TV. That is actually laughable. Had you read and comprehended the article you would see that she claims to have found some DNA matches with human DNA traceable to the maternal side of the creature's history. Do I believe it is true? No, I don't. If her research passes peer review and is accepted as valid by the scientific community then I might be more prone to believe it.

BTW, JG, Bones is entertainment, not science class. Shows like that tend to have more holes than acoustic ceiling tile. Good show but don't take it as fact. It isn't and is not meant to be.
