Yes but (providing that quote is true) Reagan wouldn't change that statement today.
The Taliban ARE the founding fathers of Afghanistan.
They have a completely different set of morals than the US founding fathers but they are historically equivalent.
Sad but true.
Most of Afghanistan and several other countries believe the Taliban to be the moral pinnacle of Islamic society.
