I hardly see someones religious preference as an excuse when they're essentially being forced, without anything but legal recourse, to comply with a law that essentially violates their religious beliefs.

I may be an atheist and totally disagree with the premise any and all religions are based upon, but I damned well respect believers rights to remain true to their belief structures all the same!

And yes it also is definitely NOT the feds business to begin with and only someone suckin heartily off the public teat could see this as anything but intrusion into business and peoples private lives in a manner they have no Constitutional right to

Oh and BTW, if anyone remembers back to the last sniggling point in the Obozocare debate just before the Dems rammed it through congress you might remember that one of the (many false) promises made to the American people was that NO funding would be made available to anyone relating to abortion.
