The Polks I picked up are a pair the Monitor Series II 60s, also a pr of Monitor series II 40s to use as center channels for 2 separate systems and then 2 pr of their small bookshelf speakers to use for side and rear channels for my 7.1 system for the LR. Sadly I have as yet been able to fire up all these new toys.

I picked up a used Yamaha RX-V1600 receiver but when it arrived it had shipping damage that had killed it

Oh well, just have to ship it back so I can get a refund and find another similar model. I like a lot of the features of the newer 7.1s/7.2 receivers they have and the reviews are stellar on pretty much all of 'em but the new ones have all dropped phono inputs completely and I want something I can finally use to digitize all my old LPs with, so ...

I "just" missed a helluva deal on a one owner RX-V3900 I found on Ebay and would really like to find another one like that so I'll just keep my eyes peeled for one
