A cassette deck will come my way eventually. I've been through some pretty good units. Wore em all out
I have a Panasonic boom box but it doesn't do the noise reduction and not satisfactory for copying tape to CD from tapes with Dolby encoding. I guess Dolby is being an ass about it and still won't let any programmers have the specs on the old B and C NR so there aren't any plugins for editing software. Not that I've found anyhow.
