Yeah I was hopin maybe it was just the common 3 capacitors that are known to take a dump and puke their lil guts out onto the circuit board, which is repairable, even have a spare set of 'em, but that dudn seem to be the case.

I have a spare ECU buried somewhere in the 100 or so 18gal. plastic tubs of Mitsu parts in my shipping container, but I haddn come across it yet in my excavations.

The version of this ECU comes from the early days of OBD1 and when I looked it up last night it appears the Laser is different from the Eclipses and Talons, which surprised me.

For a mere $250 I can snag one from the parts house but I think I'll keep diggin before just ploppin down 250 bones for somethin I KNOW I have .... somewhere
