That's too bad. At least you tried and did what you could to save the patient and you obviously knew what to do. I hope the new cam didn't set you back too much but with your adventures it makes a lot of sense to get a water proof one.

My camera suffered some damage from going to the beach (mechanical things do not get along with sand and I warned them girls about that but no one ever listens to me). It recovered ok eventually after I cleaned it out real well and kept working it but it took a while.
