Just bought the boy one a few days ago, had mine for a year now, got it at Dicks Sporting Goods, they put the Kayaks on sale once per year (this year's sale has ended here), they're usually $300, got both of mine for $200 each, I do have to say though, the second one is a little lighter than the first one I bought.... lighter means thinner "plastic," not necessarily a good thing.

And quasi, if you haven't taken it on a small river with some current yet you are missing out. Kayaks seem to take about 20-30% less time on the same float as a canoe.
