Do the manatees come that far up river? You mentioned seeing one today so I guess so. Where we used to live once in a while we'd see seals in the river 9 or 10 miles inland, especially when the salmon are running. They like them salmon. We've seen sea otters up river too. Not river otters, but actual sea otters. At least no sharks. Yet.
