Oil company executives are to blame for the high prices at the pump because they only care about increasing their bottom line profits. Oil prices are not higher now than they were back when gas prices were under $2.00 per gallon and I doubt the cost to produce the gas is much higher than it was back then so why are we paying so much at the pump? I think if they brought the price down to $2.00 per gallon people would drive more and buy more gas thereby increasing their profits even more.
